Energetic Field Practice

Field Work invites us to come into relationship with the knowledge that any energy or frequency we could ever work with can have its source from deep within us, from the very cells of our being.

Anything that we can reach for outside of ourselves, we can also find deep within ourselves. 

When we make space for our body to remember the frequencies of energy that it has access to from within, and open those frequencies into a field of energy that we can rest in, our work becomes organic,  expansive, and connective. 

For me, Field Work has become a way for me to do less and trust more. I invite the energy to do what it knows best to do: to hold myself and others, to move into the places where it's infinite wisdom guides, and to connect us back to our Sacred Nature. 

Working in a Field of Energy means we are starting by asking something larger and wiser than us to hold the space. We start the practice from a place of humility. From there, we get to be the loving witness and student: we get to watch what the energy does in us, folks we are working with, or our environment at large. We get to simply observe and learn. Suddenly healing sessions, whether for ourselves or others, become educational, playful, and full of ease. 

Watching comes in many forms: we can watch with our eyes or inner eyes... our visuals. We can watch with our bodies, noticing sensation and feelings. We can watch with our Knowing, observing the understandings that drop in our awareness.

When we open up a field of energy, we can use it in many ways: as healing space, as practice lab, as training ground, as place of connection and relationship.

1) We can open up a field of energy in order to invite in healing, restoration, or repair. We can let the energy move in us to offer healing to whatever parts of our body, being, or life are in need. We can open up a field of energy and invite others to step in to receive. In this way, our work isn't to fix or figure out, but to open up the field and anchor it in.

2) We can open up a field of energy to practice.  Often, I will drop into a practice where I open up a field of energy, and then I invite in a "practice partner" to study and explore on. I will invite a hologram of energy to present itself in the field, and then I will explore what I sense, what is possible with the energy, and anything else that wants to present to me. I use this space to practice when I don't have anyone to practice on, or when I simply want a safe space to practice and explore without having to hold concern for another soul or situation.  You have a ready-made practice lab waiting for you if you'll call it in! You can practice anytime by simply asking.

3) We can open up a field of energy to meet new frequencies, guides, or teachers. As with any of the other practices I invite in a field, anchor it in, and then invite a new Energy, Spirit Guide, or Teacher to step into the field to work with me and begin a relationship. This can be an alternative to Journeying for those who struggle with that practice. This can also be a powerful way to embody new teachings rather than run them through the filter of the mind. Sometimes in this practice I do not receive any info or "knowing" of what teacher or energy is coming in, but I can feel it moving into my body, integrating and awakening a memory in my cells. It is its own powerful medicine to sit in practice where we don't "know" what is happening, but we allow our body to receive something new and beneficial, trusting that it will work in us and through us in it's own right timing.
